Join the IPSERA Conference and enjoy special hotel conditions. While Budapest has hundreds of hotels, we picked just one 4 star and two 3 star hotels, since we would like to keep you together and we assume you would like to meet the other participants rather than being alone. But, feel free to book any other hotel if you want to. We just think these two are convenient and make it easier to assemble for events and activities.
The following 2 hotels - Mercure Korona **** and IBIS Raday Utca *** - offer special rates to guests visiting IPSERA 2017. Please download the special registration form, fill it in and send it to Mercure Korona at H1765-SB4@accor.com. Or, you also can fax it to +36 1 318 3867. Don't forget to mention keyword “IPSERA” for your registration.
What is important is that these two hotels are next to the Metro lines 3 and 4 stop at Kalvin Ter, situated 15 minutes walk from Corvinus University - or, 1 metro stop or, 5 minutes tram ride and in addition, they are right in the city centre of Budapest, close to everything.
A third hotel is Erszebet City Hotel, just 5-6 minutes walk from the Mercure Korona***, part of the Danubius Hotels Group. A rather nice 3 star hotel. Through Booking.com, you may get quite competitive rates.

How to get there
Before leaving the airport terminal, buy you public transport tickets. There is a special BKK public transport ticket shop inside the arrivals hall, but when you notice a long queue, you might be better off to buy them at the Relay magazine shop opposite the BKK sales office. You need either two 305 ft tickets or a special set of bus+metro for 540 ft. When leaving Terminal 2 at the airport, turn right and take the public transport bus 200E that leaves the airport every 15 minutes. Stay on the bus till its terminal stop - Kőbánya–Kispest, where you can take the metro line 3 into town. The metro starts there so no question which way to go. You get off at Kalvin Ter, next to Hotel Mercure.
